Megalong Valley is an ideal escape from the rest of the world, especially for those who wish to experience the Australian bush land and horse riding adventures.

The property is 168 acres and you will have the opportunity to walk on the tracks on the property, have picnics and enjoy the bountiful native wildlife.

The Six Foot Track stretches between Katoomba and Jenolan Caves. Other well known tracks in the area include Mitchells Creek Fire Trail.

The Cox's River passes through the valley and the Six Foot Track will take you to the Swing Bridge which crosses the river.

Also only a 5 minute drive away is the famous "Megalong Valley Tea Rooms" - a great place for breakfast or lunch any day of the week and the Dryridge Estate, which has wine tastings and serves delicious cheese platters and ploughman's lunches on weekends.

 

Although secluded, the property is within a short drive to other attractions in the Blue Mountains.

The nearest town is Blackheath, which is only 15 minutes away. In Blackheath you will find pubs, restaurants, cafes, boutique stores and the famous Victory Theatre Antique Centre.

Medlow Bath is the setting for the famous Hydro Majestic Hotel, with several dining options, function areas,history tours and High Teas being served.

Mount Victoria is home to the Railway Museum, as well as the Victoria and Albert Hotel.

Katoomba boasts the famous Three Sisters, The Grand Staircase, the Scenic Skyway and Railway, Echo Cinema, as well as plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, day spas and other entertainment venues.
